More Than a Dream... I Ride

So give me a stretch of plain
As far as the eye can see.
Then behind a flowing mane,
Well mounted you will find me.

I will race the clouds on high
With the wind running by my side.
Upon a mighty steed , I'll fly.
Will be more than a dream, I ride.

Yonder distance the clouds disappear.
The hoofbeats too will grow faint.
The challenge has erased all fear,
To the horizon there is no restraint.

I will return, show no remorse.
Each passing cloud will bring another
I've thoroughly enjoyed this far flung course

Knowing Christ is Above All

But what things were gain to me, these I have counted loss for Christ. How is this one for 2022?

Proverbs 20:22 may be a go to verse for many of us.

"Do not say, “I’ll pay you back for this wrong!”

Wait for the Lord, and he will avenge you."

Often times we "take matters into our own hands". And often times those matters just go from bad to worse.

The "wrongs" that we may experience may be big..

The "wrongs" may be someone taking advantage of us.

The "wrongs" may have been going on for weeks, months or even years.

And then some of the "wrongs" may be just plain annoying.

So the next time you want to "get even"... or "demand or own rights"... or may be even enter into a state of denial... Remember, God has your back... He is also riding point...

So in 2022... Remember 20:22... Proverbs 20:22, that is.
