Registered to Vote

I guess I just celebrated an anniversary. This May marked 50 years an American registered to vote. I remember the day well. Nora Hussey signed my card there in the @Sturgis Brown High School. Later she was appointed by President Reagan to be the director of the Denver Mint. I have missed very few elections. I understand one of the Governor candidates did not vote in a primary until 2024. I guess I have him beat. I love the fact that my family and I still vote at the Alkali Hall with neighbors in the Alkali Precinct. They are democrats, republicans and independents that understand their privilege and duty to vote. I will ignore what the opinion polls say... they change all the time. I may not ignore the "negative advertising"... in fact I will vote against those candidates that have resorted to that. I appreciate the fact that in the Governor's race... two of the candidates have identified who their running mate is. That is important as I will vote for the whole package. I will vote for legislators and commissioners that do their best to represent my family and me that are not out to fill the wishes of "establishment" government and big business. Good principles make good policy. And for me and my house... principle that is based on upon biblical principle is important
