"So you think I am so lucky to inherit the ranch? You are missing it... rather we have generations that have worked together in building a family business. I know of no one that has been in the business of Ag... that has not contributed sweat, blood and tears and years of sacrifice to build a business most often starting at a very young age. My grandparents homesteaded here... My dad and mom worked with them and paid payments to off farm family members for years. My wife and I worked with my parents and ! was able to purchase land to add to the ranch.And now our children are and have been giving of themselves to continue the operation and build it as well. Again, I believe a better way to look at most family operations is as I stated earlier. Multiple generation working together to build the family business."
