Many years ago I was sharing my story... my testimony... God's Word to a group of folks in Gillette. After I finished, a kind lady commented to me, "You have amazing faith". Without hesitation and certainly out of humility I responded, "Oh it is not my faith, but rather Who my faith is in".
Honestly, even today as we are a week away from our first camp at RBR... We are days away from branding calves and turnout... Yes, some major undertakings as well as some peculiar challenges are before us. I will be the first to admit that moving forward is not based on my seemingly meager faith. So many questions...I have no trouble falling asleep at night, but I know when I wake up, I am reminded of the heaviness of drought... cost of doing business... feeling short handed... unexplained illness in calves... disheartened friends and family. You know, because you may be in the some of the same situations. But praise God... The One that my faith is in can take my little bitty faith and together... We will press on.
May is always a challenge to an extent... 47 years ago through what the world deemed a tragedy, Rainbow Bible Ranch began. And what a blessing to be a part of God's working. May will always be a time of memories... of getting ready to have hundreds of kids and thousands of people in our backyard... busy times on the ranch... but we will ""press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. ... not because of my/our great faith... but Whom our faith is in
