Stanley Bangert - USS Grayback - World War II

DEATH 27 FEB 1944 U.S. - Missing In Action or Lost At Sea On February 27, 1944, after the Grayback fired it's last torpedoes on a Japanese freighter, she was heavily damaged by a Japanese naval aircraft, exploded, and sank with the loss of all 80 crew members.
